About the Kingdom of Heyr

The Kingdom of Heyr, officially known as The Grand Heyrian Authority, is a micronation situated within Essex, in the southern region of Upminster. The nation encompasses 53.56 acres of mainland territory, positioned between the towns of Upminster and Cranham. Despite its small size, Heyr maintains a distinct cultural identity, administrative structure, and national heritage.

Heyrian Currency Development

In 2026, Heyr introduced its first official banknote, designed by Jorja Worthington, the nation’s lead currency artist. This inaugural note—known as the Heyrian Dollar—featured a clean, symbolic design. The right side displayed a portrait of David Varley, the second‑in‑command of the Heyrian Government, while the opposite side showcased the Socialism Pact, a foundational document of the state. Currency values were placed prominently in the top‑left and bottom‑right corners, establishing the visual style that would influence future Heyrian banknotes.
